When is the best time to cycle in Mallorca? You can ride in Mallorca all year because the temperatures are very comfortable. The perfect time to visit is between March and June or September to December.  In January and Febrary it can be cold (5º – 14º) and July and August it can be hot (30º 35º), but if you don’t mind the cold or the sun, it won’t be a problem.

How many days do I need to cycle around Mallorca? In mountain bike we recommend 6 days because you can enjoy the tour with stops in beautiful caves, you will have time to take photos, etc. On Road bike in 4 stages is sufficient to enjoy the tour.

What level of experience do I need to cycle around Mallorca? In mountain bike there are difficult technical places so you need a medium or good level. On Road bike its depends on the number of stages. If you are a beginner we recommend, for example 5 or 6  stages.

Can I bring my own bike or do I need to rent one? You can bring your own bike but we can offer you very good bike rentals at competitive prices too.

What is a self guided bike tour? What’s included? You will follow the track of the tour on the GPS. You can use your own GPS or we can rent you one with the tracks that you need.

We will show you how to use the GPS if you don’t know already and we will be available to answer any questions during the route.

 What is included in the price of the cycling holiday in stages?  The base price includes the hotels with bed and breakfast, the suitcase transfer every day to your next stop and insurance, then you can add other optional services like a bike rental, local guide, gps, etc.

On arrival you will have a welcome meeting with one of our English speaking guides to explain all the things you need to know. Here you will also receive a welcome pack which includes maps, tracks,a roadbook, a cycling jersey and  a typical surprise product from Mallorca. This is all included in the base price.

Also during your routes, we will be on hand should you have any problems.

Our extra optional services are, Rental bike rental , GPS rental , Transfers and help for people in case of problems en route, local guides etc.

 What if I am travelling alone?  It’s no problem,lots of our customers ride alone. Single rooms are available too.

What travel documents do I need? Nowadays you need a passport and covid passport if you want to go a Restaurants with more than 50 people.

Do I need insurance? We have an insurance but if you want a better cover you can use your own.

What essential items do I need to bring? You have to bring what you normally use on your bike, helmet, gloves, confortable clothes etc. Then if you need some special tools for bike and spare parts like inner tubes, patchess, brake pads etc. We can bring you all you need for next day.

What is included in the guided 1 day bike tour?  The service of a  bilingual guide,who knows the tour perfectly, is included. They are also trained to know how to fix some mechanical problems that you may have in your bike, we take photos during the tour and also the insurance is included in the price. If you need a bike we can offer you a rental bike.

What will the weather be like on my bike tour? Normally the weather in Mallorca is sunny, but if it’s raining we don’t cancel the tour but you can decide what you want to do.

Are the roads busy for cycling in Mallorca? The most important roads normally are busy in July and August, the rest of the year are well and with a good surface, perfect for road biking.

What kind of terrain is there for mountain biking in Mallorca? You can find a lot of kind of terrain, single tracks, tracks, asphalt, sand, technical places with big stones, gravel and in some places maybe you will need to walk a little.

 What if my partner doesn’t cycle? Your partner can choose different activities around the hotel, like the beautiful beaches, shopping,Other outdoor activities, like hiking etc.

The time you will spend riding every day, depends on the stages that you choose and the pace that you go.

What are the cycling rules in Spain ? In Spain, everyone must drive/ride on the right-hand side of the road. Never ride your bike against the traffic flow. If available, you must ride on bike tracks or appropriately marked trails. The speed limit is 30 km/h.
